Heather was a St. Mary's colleague and good friend of my mom, Rita Gregory.  They spent many hours sharing frustrations, laughs and loving their friendship. Through the years my mom and dad (Harry) and Heather and John became regular travel partners and spent lots of time together. I know how much Heather's friendship meant to my mom.
In time, she also became my family's good friend, inviting my sons Ben and Steve to swim in her pool.  We had many laughs and good times with your mom and grandma. She will be missed.

My condolences to all Heathers family and friends. I will really miss Heather and her fun loving nature and great sense of humour. She was my good friend for over 15 years. We enjoyed many lunches dinners and card games over the years and lots of laughs.

No-one who was part of the St. Mary's High School community in the years when Heather worked in the main office will ever forget her.
Hers was the first face we saw when we entered the main office and her voice was often the last one we heard at the end of the day as she decided to entertain the stragglers still in the building with one of her witty announcements.
Heather loved to have fun but she performed her challenging role on the main desk with great efficiency, compassion and kindness,  always showing how much she loved people and solving their problems.
If there's a PA system in heaven, I think we know whose hand is on the control button now.
Above all, Heather loved her family and proudly introduced her sidekick Brianna on their excursions around town. Virginia and Brianna, you have lost your biggest fan, your rock and foundation. I extend to you my sincere condolences.  Hold her spirit in your hearts and feel that strength forever.

Years ago, when I served as Chaplain at St. Mary's, Heather paged me to come to the office. Always pestering me with "trivia" about my expense claims, this time all she needed was my signature which I'd forgotten to include. With great relief I quickly signed the form as she watched. As I handed the paper back to her, with her typical sardonic manner and laser quick wit, Heather looked at me and said, "Well, I could have done that!" Words fail to describe a personality as large as Heather's -- she was dearly loved, fondly remembered and one in a million! My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. 

Heather's name is mentioned by so many. Remember when Heather.... She relished pulling jokes on us. No one was spared including the Principal. She made us laugh. When she spoke in her strong, deep, affirmative Bermudian accent, everyone took notice, expecting the unexpected.
She is known as the voice of St Mary's High School. How apropos. There will only be one Heather. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Her p.a. announcements are legendary, and she never failed to make me smile....and laugh out loud.May she rest in peace.

I worked at St.Mary's with Heather many years ago and I still remember how effective and helpful she was and the great good humour she showed .I smile just remembering her. My deepest sympathy to all of her loved ones at this sad time. May the warmest of your memories bring you comfort.
