Beloved wife of the late Robert Brown (2009). Dear mother of Gordon and Lois (Bob Bradie). Loved grandmother of Jamie Bradie (Jess) and Sherri Bradie (Mat) and great grandmother of Mason, Alex, Payton, Nash and Theo. Predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Hilda Donaldson and her sister Joyce. She studied bookkeeping at college and worked as a bookkeeper prior to raising her children. She spent many weeks and weekends camping with her family in their trailer, and in later years wintering in Florida with her husband. She also loved working on their family tree. She kept sharp with her computer and word searches.
Cremation has taken place. Helen’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m.
A pre-service visitation will continue at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 248 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener, on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m., followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Frank Szatmari officiating. A private family interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
