Passed away at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Geza Holdosi. Dear mother of Helen Hobbs. Loved grandmother of Valerie Stead (Rob), Steve, Michael, and the late Richard Hobbs, and great grandmother of Courtney, Joshua, Madison, Logan, Paige, and Alex. Dear aunt of Kathy Varga. Predeceased by her brother Frank Varga. Ilona’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 6 – 9 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:15 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
