Islay Marie Arnott

(nee Erwin) – on the evening of May 11, 2013, in her 68th year, with her husband at her side, Islay passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished wife of 43 years to Garfield Arnott. Much-loved mother to her children Michael (Elena) and Nicole (Vincent). Adored Nana to Hunter, Caitlin, Sarah, Cullan and Trystan. Predeceased by her parents Ruby and Clark Erwin and brother Wayne. Dear sister to Craig, Bob, Joy (Bleach), David and Sandra (Rummerfield). Treasured friend to many. Islay will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was a wonderful hostess who loved being surrounded by family and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Freeport Hospital. Your help and support will be remembered. Friends and family will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street., South on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 544 Bridgeport Road East.
