Pauline and Family

We were so sorry to hear about Jake's death.  We attended both the visitation and Celebration of Life.   Nick worked with Jake at BFG Industrial Products Plant and Rosemarie worked with Jake at Epton.  It was so great to hear Natascha talk about her father's life.  We got to know Jake better and all the experiences he had in his life.  Jake was a wonderful person and will be missed by many.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Jake is my oldest brother and we grew up in Laren, a beautiful place in Holland. We come from a family of five children: four brothers and myself. As children we lived in Holland during World War II and so we learned at an early age to work hard for our own future. And that is what my brother Jake always did: he always wanted to accomplish what was best for his family and he worked hard for it. We all admired this in him and I miss him very much.  Both Jake (Joop for me) and I emigrated at a young age out of Holland to different parts of the world. Sadly we till today always lived in different  continents and so we haven’t seen each other for a  long time. But we always are connected despite the physical distance, and I am sad  I lost my last brother.  
I hope Pauline, her children and 
grandchildren can find some strength to overcome this great loss. 
To Joop: may you rest in peace. I will miss you.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your father-in-law.  The details of his life certainly speak to what an extraordinary man he was.  Sending you, Paul, your family and loved ones a big hug and all the courage you need to get through this difficult time.

My heart breaks for all of you.   Jake had a wonderful life and for most of it a very healthy and long life.   I had so much respect for Mr. Kok.   

Such a wonderful man, kind hearted and loving and wise beyond years.
(I still call him Mr. Kok out of respect)
