James Douglas Danbrook

Passed away, as he wished surrounded by his family at home on March 8, 2016. Doug will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend Joan (Robinson). Devoted and loved dad to his children Ainsley and Daryl Casier of Acton, Bryce and Meghan (George) of Waterloo. Loving and doting Poppa to Mercer and Lochlan Casier. Lovingly missed by his siblings Betty Lou and Ken Tomlinson of Goderich, Don and Rose Danbrook of Kitchener, Debbie and Steve Claypole of Listowel. Son-in-law to Ruth (late Roy) Robinson of Listowel, brother in law to Shirley (late Ken) Bowman of Burlington, Ralph and Marlene Robinson of Stratford, Ron and Lois Robinson of Listowel, Jack and Sue Robinson of Gorrie, Debbie and Don Strachan of Listowel. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his loving parents Ross and Doreen Danbrook (Smith).

A celebration of Doug’s life will be held Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Elma Community Centre in Atwood at 1:30 pm. Anyone who wishes to share a story/memory or picture which will be added to a book of remembrance to keep Doug’s legacy alive is most welcome. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Doug, we ask that it be made to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, Kitchener. On behalf of Doug, his family wishes to thank the generous, kind and supportive care he received during his final journey of life with cancer.
