James Patrick "Pat" Owens

Passed away peacefully at Hilltop Manor in Cambridge on Monday, March 3, 2014 in his 81st. year. Son of the late James and Lucienne Owens (Galarneau) of Montreal. Beloved husband of the late Ann Beverly Owens (Thomas), December 23, 2001. Cherished dad to Kevin, Ken (Lidia), Tom (Angelia) and Laura Lee (Dave).

Pat leaves cherished memories with his grandchildren Brian, Russell, Dylan, James, John Patrick, Alexandra, Nicole, Nirvana, Inacio and Jean Paul, and great grandchildren Brandon, Tristan, Jeremy and Emma. Much loved brother to John, Philip, Gerald, Eileen, Theresa, and Louise, predeceased by siblings Michael, Peter, Catherine and Margaret.

Pat enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the Royal Canadian Navy as well as many years spent in government service. He was an avid amateur radio operator, and a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, he will be forever loved in the hearts of all who knew him.

Friends may call at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate the life of this wonderful man will be in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery.
