JoAnn May Crane

Beloved wife of Terry Crane for 26 Years. Dear mother of Lorie (Kevin) Ottman. Predeceased by her sons Bob Tales (June) and Blake Tales. Loved stepmother to Steven Crane (Jacqueline), Marcus Crane (Conner) and Calvin Crane. She cherished her role as grandmother to Jessie, Kelsey, Hannah, Josh, and Lydia and step-grandmother to Ryan, Elliot, Madalynn, Cohen & Maren. Also remembered by her 5 great-grandchildren and many many friends.

Jo worked for the Ontario Turkey Producers Marketing Board for 29 years. She started as a secretary in 1976 and eventually was promoted to General Manager where she worked until she retired in 2005. She was an avid golfer and loved playing bingo. Jo was always the life of the party and her home was always open to all. As she would say “The more the merrier.”

Family and friends may visit at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener on Tuesday, October 8th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm for visitation. A service will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 11:00am in the chapel at the funeral home followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
