On Thursday October 4, 2012 at Lisaard House in Cambridge, Joanne passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 50 years. Survived by her cherished family including husband Brian, son Spencer, brothers Robert MacPhee (Tina), Joseph McPhee (Denise), Douglas McPhee, Kenneth McPhee (Mariette), and Brian McPhee (Wilma), sisters Mary O’Connell (Michael), Diane Metcalfe, Debbie Rennie and Sandra MacDonald (Glen), parents-in-law Donald and Shirley Clarke and sister-in-law Patricia Klus (Wally). Predeceased by her parents Charles and Alice McPhee of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Cremation has taken place. There will be visitation for friends and family at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. 519-743-8900 on Tuesday October 9, 2012 from 10 am -11 am followed by Memorial Service which will be held at 11 am in the Chapel. A reception will follow. In Joanne’s memory donations can be to Lisaard House in Cambridge or the Canadian Cancer Society.
