John Becker

Peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, March 31, 2013, in his 84th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie. John will be dearly missed by his son Jim (Sandra) Becker and by his chosen daughter Kathy Whitelaw-Becker. He leaves precious memories with his grandchildren; Laurie, Robin and Brent (Angie) and their mother Lynn Becker. Loving great-grandfather to Nikki, Taylor, Victoria and MacKenzie and great-great-grandfather to Joshua and Katie. Cherished brother of Hilda Berberich (the late Art) and Lloyd Becker (Lorna), and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his parents John and Emma Becker (nee Koenig) and by his sisters Viola (George) Lantz, Irene (Ernest) Bank, Dorothy (Elmer) Fischer, baby Florence and baby Vera and brothers Wilfred (Mary), Eldon and Lincoln. The Becker Family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., 519-743-8900, on Friday, April 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service to celebrate the life of John Becker will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Pryce officiating.
