Beloved husband of the late Valerie (nee Williamson) Mitchell (2009). Dear father of Scott (Jane), Garry (Debbie), Mitch (Fatima), and Tracey (Jan). Loved grandfather of Taryn (Stephen), Tonda (Andrew), Connar (Jazmin), Spencer (Shawn), McKenzie, Paige, Rylee, and Shawn, and great grandfather of Abigail, Luca, Lexa, Axl-Jack, Grayson, Kenna, Kane, and Kolbie. Also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Kathy and John, Kat, Dinah, Brenda, and Bobbie. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Agnes Mitchell, his brother Norman (Gloria), his sister Dorothy, and his great grandson Bennett, and his two special companions Nessie and Laddie. John will be remembered for his smile, his sense of humour, and his full use of the English language! Cremation has taken place.
