Survived by loving husband, Trevor. Karen was his best friend and soulmate for 40 years. Dear mother of Jason and Allysha Witt of Waterloo, Ontario. Loving Grandma to Fiona and Emma. Survived by brother Peter Storer (wife Susanne) of Cambridge; sister-in-law Joan Witt of London, Ontario and brother-in-law Eric Haase of Rochester, New York. Karen was loved by her many nieces and nephews. Karen attended the New Apostolic Church on Margaret Avenue, Kitchener Ontario and was active in the Church her entire life. She was very thankful for the loving support given by the Ministers, sisters, brothers and friends in the circle of the New Apostolic faith.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Friday, April 17th from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the Margaret Avenue Congregation of the New Apostolic Church, 160 Margaret Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario, with Priest Corey Lindner officiating. A fellowship reception will follow immediately in the fellowship hall of the congregation.
Special thanks to Dr. Bullock and the wonderful nursing and administration staff at Waterloo Hospice, who made Karen’s last weeks peaceful and dignified.
