Surrounded by the love of his family at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday April 9, 2014 in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of Maria, Manuel will be sadly missed by his sons Manuel (Jan) and Tony (Catherine), and his daughters Liz and Rose. He leaves precious memories with his 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, his sisters Ilda Correia, Lourdes Rocha and Amelia Gomez, brother Miguel Rebelo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Isabel and Frank Rebelo, and his children Frank, Lourdes and Elizabeth.
The Rebelo family will receive family and friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel on Sunday, April 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Vigil Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 Laurentian Dr. on Monday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m., interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
