It is with heavy hearts the family of Marguerite Robert announces her passing at Cambridge Country Manor.
Marguerite was born on June 17, 1934 in Welland, Ontario and spent most of life there until moving her family to Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Over the years she lived in Peterborough and Haliburton where she enjoyed bingo, arts and crafts. She loved camping and fishing and the beauty of nature. While she overcame many health issues throughout her years, she succumbed to Covid-19 on January 5, 2021.
Much loved wife of the late Gerard Robert (2014) for 61 years.
Devoted mother of Claudette Provencher (Hugh), Gerry Robert (Martha), Carole Robert (Roy), Roger Robert (Diane), Danny Robert and the late Andre Robert (Susan).
Beloved grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Dear sister of Roger Jolin. She will be remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Noella Jolin, surviving in-laws Raymond Robert (Sharon), Marcel Robert (Irene), Rejeanne Pratt and Francoise Cutler. Marguerite is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Aurea Jolin, brothers Napolean and Hermas and sister Jeanne Potvin.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial of cremated remains will take place at Memory Gardens. Donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital or to the Covid-19 Response at Grand River Hospital Foundation.
