Born August 10, 1930 in São Miguel, Azores, Portugal. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Rebelo (2014). Dear mother of Manuel (Jan), Tony (Catherine), Liz, and Rose (Ted). Loved grandmother of Justin, Matthew, Tara, Chris, Chelsey, Dana, Joey Lee, Jesse, Jade, Ryan, Riley, and Bethany. Also remembered by her 21 great grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by her son Frank, daughter Lourdes, and infant daughter Elizabeth. Maria was loved by so many and anyone who knew her will remember her loving kindness and generosity. Maria's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
