If you had the pleasure of working with Marilyn at the Region of Waterloo, you were very fortunate.  Marilyn was what public service was all about.  She was someone you could always count on to do what needed to be done when it needed to be done.  She was one of those few people you never forgot. I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn many years ago at the Region of Waterloo.  Never one to say a bad word about anybody, she was a pleasure to work with and to know. 

I was sorry to hear of my cousin Marilyn’s passing. Chris , Cory and families your Mom has left you in the physical, she will continue to be with you in the spiritual, watch, listen and feel the many ways she will connect with you. 
Donna, Karen, Tree, Jenn, Jude and family prayers, peace love and hugs to all of you. I remember you from some Kroetsch/Hood gatherings
Due to health reasons I couldn’t be with you all today. 


I’m so very sorry to hear of the passing of Marilyn.  I worked with Marilyn at The  Region of  Waterloo for many years.  She was always a very nice person who would stop and say hello no matter how busy she was.  She was always smiling and took the time to see how you were doing and she would help in any way she could.  She was a very liked person and I remember her well.  Condolences to Marilyn’s family. 



My dear aunt Meme, 
To me, you will be remembered as my aunt who took everyones picture every year at the Dute, who was ready every night to walk down to Wallygators for ice cream and afterwards asked, "What game are we playing tonight?"  I will always remember the time when you put on my roller blades and went blading around the Dute and the time when we caught your dog Jordan sitting on my dad's big brown Cordoba.  The Dute in Ipperwash was one of your happy places, as it was known to the "Hood" family where the two-week party was and all family and friends were welcome.  I will remember you for being a big Kitchener Rangers fan with seasons tickets and when the group headed out to dinner, (sometimes Arby's), before the Friday night games.  Meme, Randy and the boys have been so intertwined in my life since Meme and my mom Donna were the two oldest Hood girls, and us, the kids, being so close in age - We did everything together.  I remember when you lived on Pathfinder and when you used to babysit me when I was little.  You are the one who gave me the nickname "Pinky" after seeing me at the top of your staircase one day all dressed in pink and that nickname stuck.  Please know that these and so many other wonderful memories will be remembered and cherished by us all forever.  
Thank you for being such an amazing mom, sister, wife, aunt and friend to many.  You will always remain Uncle Randy's Princess and forever in our hearts.
