Peacefully, at Golden Years Nursing Home in Cambridge, on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Charlie (Chap) in January 2000, Maureen leaves cherished memories with her dear friends Ada and Lloyd Gillam, Penny Woodhouse, Shirley Moar and Edee Schmitt. Stepmother to June Bavis (the late Allen), her brothers and sisters and their families. Many thanks for the loving care Maureen received during her stay at Golden Years Nursing Home. Friends and family will be welcomed at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.) on Wednesday April 13, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A Celebration of Maureen’s Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Brianne Jourdin officiating. Cremation has taken place, inurnment will be at Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Golden Years Recreation Fund would be greatly appreciated.
