Michael David Neuhof

Of Kitchener, age 27, died January 20th, 2016. Michael passed peacefully in the arms of his wife and soulmate, Mackenzie (nee Kristensen), and in the presence of his loving parents, Erwin and Susan (nee Meyer). Michael was predeceased by his grandparents Alvin Meyer, and Arthur and Meta Neuhof. Michael was the cherished grandson of Audrey Meyer, adored son-in-law of Rob and Angela Cowan, and treasured brother-in-law of Jessica Kristensen. He will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. A valued member of The Partners Club, Michael will be remembered for his passion for all things sports, especially golf, fantasy football, and his beloved Maple Leafs. Michael graduated from the Wilfrid Laurier Business program with Honours. A man of great intelligence and lover of statistics, he was an integral part of the team at Cowan Wilkin Financial Services. Michael handled great struggles with profound grace and resilience. His kindness and integrity inspired all those who knew him. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brian Leber and the team of health care providers at Juravinski Hospital. Visitation will be at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Monday, January 25th between 2 and 4 pm, and between 7 and 9 pm. The funeral ceremony will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 54 Benton St., Kitchener, on Tuesday January 26th at 5 pm, followed by a celebration of Michael’s life at the Concordia Club, 429 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener.
