Patrick is the cherished brother of Trudy Curran MacDonald of Valleyfield, Quebec and Wendy Curran of Kitchener, Ontario. He is the loving uncle to Eric MacDonald and Eric’s daughter, Jennifer MacDonald. He has many cousins who are saddened at his passing.
Patrick has many lifelong friends from Valleyfield as well as Kitchener and Waterloo Region friends and great neighbours who also share in our sorrow.
Pat’s passions were Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Fogerty, Stephen King and the Montreal Canadiens. He was a voracious reader who typically read 3 or 4 books on a variety of subjects at same time. He enjoyed crosswords, politics and was a great debater.
Pat’s family is so grateful to the wonderful and caring staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, especially Maria. They made Pat’s last hours very peaceful.
