Peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Manuel and her daughters Aldora and Maria (Fernando), Pilar will be forever missed by her children; Isabel Lobo (Alberto), Albertina Gabriel (Chico), , and Almelia Xavier. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Branco (Rick), Jennifer Houle (Gord), Bruno Gabriel (Jacky), Michael Gabriel, Christina Matos (Joe), Fatima Matos (Phil), Alice Matos (Fawzi) and Paulo Matos (Jenny).
She will be lovingly remembered as a gentle soul and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Family and friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel on Sunday April 6, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to celebrate the life of this wonderful lady. Funeral service and interment will follow in Portugal.
