Dear Randy, today is February 7, 2025 and I just learned of your passing in 2019. I've become overly sentimental with age and each loss in life becomes particularly difficult. I was remembering our many talks fondly during those summer days driving around a blue pick-up truck during our duties as pump mechanic and summer student at L.O.R.M. You were one of the 'coolest cats' in the refinery... part of the "ol' Park Royal" club as you used to say with a famous and warm, wry grin. You had a way of making people feel at ease around you and a natural way of de-escalating any tensions in a team. I had considered calling you today, just to catch up, 30-years later ('93-'95)... just to say thank you again and to see how your journey progressed. You are alive and well in my mind, continuing to encourage a positive outlook on the world. In the places where thoughts dwell, we remember. Thank you.

  Randy was always an uplifting person to be around. I remember when he talked a group of us guys into twilight golf and it lasted for a couple of years. We  all  had a lot of fun playing  even though most of us weren't the same caliber of player he was.

It is with great sadness that we heard the news of Randy's passing.  He was a co-worker of mine for 33 years at Petro.  He was always up and never down.  

He was a great friend and always there when you needed him.  The world has lost another gentle soul.

My deepest condolences on the lost of your beloved Randy. I worked with Randy for over 30 years beginning with the CB&G days right into the maintence  department.  I also remember the days when we played baseball. We had a lot of fun.

it is with great sorrow that i have learned of Randy's passing and i worked for many years with him and he was the best of the best and i will miss him .  I know that i share condolences with all of his friends and those that he worked with.


Anticipation, it doesn’t guard us when that final moment arrives.
It is with sadness that I learned today, that Randy had lost his struggle with life, and escaped the torture of his terrible illness.
Randy was a co-worker, but more than that, he was a true friend of the highest order.  A beautiful man, a generous and loving man.
