Rebecca Martin peacefully passed away on August 02, 2022 at the age of 78. Rebecca was predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald Martin of 60 years. Loving mother to Darlene Donkers (Dan) and son Roland. Proud Grammy of Nathon (Kelsey), Mathew (Cathie) and Kathryn (Matthew). Very proud Great Grammy to Hudson and Suzie. Rebecca will be missed by her brother Harold (Vince) Snodden and sister Colleen Morgan. Pre-deceased by parents Christena, Hein and Harold and by sisters Gloria, Elaine and Patricia. Rebecca will be greatly missed by her adoptive family Yvonne and Ollie Martin. A huge thank you for all your love and support over the years. The family will receive relative and friends on Sunday August 7th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa Street South in Kitchener). A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre on Monday August 8th, 2002 at 11:30am. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
