Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, March 23, 2018 in his 83rd year. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Christel and his children Jacqueline Stone (Jeff) and Bernt. He was adored by his grandchildren, Rebecca Stone (Daniel Thompson) and Travis Stone. He will also be missed by his brother Waldemar (Marita) of British Columbia, his sister-in-laws Renate Taylor (Doug) of Baden, Regina Schnapp (Franz) of Germany as well as his nieces and nephews.
Dad was a hard worker, a problem solver and an inventor. He loved adventures, the beauty of the great outdoors and to joke around!
A private family service will be held in his honour. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
