Johnston (nee Roy), Rosemarie passed away on Thursday, July 13 at the age of 62, with her husband Robert and daughter Michelle by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Roland and Antoinette, her mother-in-law Marion, and one sister, Huguette. She is survived by two brothers, Francois (Linda) and Bernie, three sisters, Suzanne, Jeanette (Gordon) and Deanne, sister-in-law Beth, father-in-law Paul, and many nieces and nephews. Rosemarie grew up in Edmonton, Alberta until she moved to Kitchener in 1990. She had many fond memories of holidays and weekends spent in the rocky mountains and missed them terribly.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener (519-743-8900) on Saturday July 22. A visitation will begin at noon, followed by funeral proceedings at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the K-W Humane Society.
