It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Susan Stewart on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at Saint Luke’s Place in Cambridge at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late John Stewart. Loved deeply by children John (Craig), Paul (Murray), Linda and Don (Barb). Cherished grandmother to Jamie (Alyssa) and Cameron (Carly). Susan will be missed by sister-in-law, Annette Carrie and remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents James and Donalda Carrie, brothers David Carrie and James Carrie, sister Elizabeth Carrie and sisters-in-law Mary Carrie, Helen Cargill (David) and Kathleen Hind (James) and nieces Heather Carrie and Eileen Darjes.
Susan worked as a hairdresser and volunteered with many organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Rockway Centre and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church teaching Sunday School.
Susan’s family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial visitation at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South in Kitchener (519-743-8900) on Thursday April 21 from 7:00-9:00pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Saint Luke's Place, Cambridge Ont. would be appreciated by Susan’s family.
