My thoughts and prayers are with you Gord , Pam and family. . May the memories of your mom give you comfort.   Sylvia was a fire cracker. I worked  with her for years at Golden and she always lite up the room. She was very good at her job and was the go to person if you wanted it done right.  Sylvia was always up to a little mischief only to bring laughter and joy to our work days.  I have many fond memories of her shenanigans and Im smiling now thinking of them.  She made our world a better place and I feel blessed to have known her. Rest peacefully dear lady.

I will remember Sylvia mainly through Christmases in the 60s and 70s at her sister Dolly's place. Dolly was my aunt and since Sylvia was her sister I called her aunt as well. To her I was Dickie then. 
The house full of relatives from all sides quite often verged on madness but Sylvia was always the calm in the middle of the Christmas storm. I always enjoyed her stories of the childhood that she and her sister shared in the 1940s with their parents Birdie and Reiney Syrotiuk.

Many a night planning to go out, waiting for Gord to feather his hair, and I would sit with Sylvia and talk.  She would be quick to smile and laugh! I loved her laugh.  And she would offer advice, which was always insightful and kind.  We are so sorry for your loss.  She will be remembered with fondness and love.  

Sylvia and Richard’s doors were always open, everyone was welcome and Sylvia loved the sound of kids laughter ‘all over the house.’
She loved Christmas, the cottage, Charlie Pride, casseroles, her home, music, cosy jammie’s, her home, playing solo, Halloween, laughter and “life in general”. 
Svlvia always took such joy in everyone’s happiness. She was kind, caring, and leaves us with wonderful memories.
Now she shines through Gordon and Pam with great pride and love. We will miss her greatly.

Many wonderful memories of your lovely parents when we were kids growing up.  There was always laughter, good humour and love of music in your home.    Sometimes I wish I could time travel back to those good days.    My thoughts are with you.    Sylvia is in our hearts together with Richard.  

Your home was always so fun... my 2nd home. Playing the drums, racing slot cars, playing the organ, running around and having a ball. And your mom was always a part of that. So kind,  welcoming and happy. AND She'd give me Oreos too. Only wonderful memories! - All my love.   

Thinking of both of you Gord and Pam.  Your mom was a lovely lady. I remember her and Smoke always laughing and enjoying life.
