Aline C. Miller

Aline Cruze Miller, 85, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015. She was born in Rutledge, Tennessee on January 17, 1930 to the late Samuel and Alice Boatman Cruze. She was member of Inskip Baptist Church and a former member of Park Lane Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fulton (Bill) Miller.; sisters, Maggie Sanders and Gladys Holmes; brothers, Jack, Hubert, Dudley, Nathaniel , Fitchue and Charles Cruze. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Newton Smith, Kennesaw, Georgia; grandson, Matthew Smith, Kennesaw; granddaughter, Allison Smith, Atlanta, Ga; sister, Eve Lee, Knoxville; brother, Lloyd (Betty) Cruze, Knoxville. brother and sister-in-law, Handy and Joanne Miller; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A special thanks to neighbor Fred Montgomery for all the help and kindness shown over the years. Also thanks to Scarlet Stokes for loving kindness and help. A life celebration service will be at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mike Segers officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
