Altina Miller

Altina Miller, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, August 21, 2022 after fighting a courageous battle against Alzheimer's. Altina was born May 3, 1933 to C.E. and Eva Phillips. She was of the Baptist faith. Altina retired from Anderson News.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas G. Phillips and Timothy Phillips; grandson, Stephen Miller. Altina is survived by children, Joann Phillips, Jeff Lester, George Stephen (Lee) Miller, Angela White, and Gail (Bob) Roberts; grandchildren, Jon (Elise) Kahner, Jenny (John) Smallman, Barry Loukaitis, Matthew Miller, Trever White, Ashetyn White, Sam (Emily) Roberts, Blake Roberts; great grandchildren, Rhys White, Hudson Roberts, Henry Roberts, Hampton Roberts; brother, Ed Phillips; sister, Sally (Bruce) Pieper; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will take place Wednesday, August 24th at 11am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849, meeting at the graveside at 10:45am. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Tennessee Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/tn.
