Amelia "Amy" R. Walker, age 72, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. She was of the Christian faith. Amy was a certified medical coder for over 25 years. She loved music, traveling to the beach and Italy, and of course, all things Vols. As the matriarch of the family, Amy was fiercely devoted to her family and friends. We will all remember her sassy, spunky and witty spirit. We will miss her greatly and love her always.
Amy was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Walker; parents, Bill and Iva Richards. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Ben) Swaney and Ashlee Alleman; grandchildren, Jaclyn Swaney, Riley Gaul, Maddie Donilon; great grandson, Phoenix Pressley; siblings, Becky Harb and Ben Richards; fiance, Bob McConkey; several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
