Anne Harbin

Anne was a 1972 graduate of Holston High School. She devoted many years of her life to caring for others through her work in the medical field. Anne worked for more than 20 years at St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she served as a supervisor in the Histology Department. She later continued her career at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where she worked for an additional 28 years before retiring. Her dedication to her work and the people she served was a meaningful part of her life.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lennis McCubbins; brothers, James McCubbins, Donald McCubbins, and Gary Joe McCubbins; and sisters, Helen Nelson and Edna Greene.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Harbin; daughter, Rebecca Brown; son, Steve Harbin and wife, Andrea; grandchildren, Suzannah, Joe, Abby, Madalyn, Caroline, and Ella Kate; sister-in-law, Norma McCubbins; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Anne will be remembered and deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
