Betty was preceded in death by parents, James Edward Sherrod and Ellen Irene Sherrod; brother, Robert and Jerry Sherrod. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Eugene Cope; children, Tammy Wilhite, Jason Wilhite, and Gena Cope O'Toole (Daniel); grandchildren, Daniel and Ava O'Toole, Carter Wilhite; siblings, Jimmy, Gene (Wanda), Tommy, and Freddie Sherrod, Mary Ann Varner, Linda Sharp (Buddy), Brenda Valentine (Ricky); many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday, December 22nd from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service following at 7pm. Graveside service will take place Tuesday, December 23rd at 1pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery, meeting at the graveside at 12:45pm.
