Betty Vaughn Lett, age 86, of Knoxville, passed away at her home Tuesday morning August 1, 2017. She was a devoted wife and beloved Mother. Preceded in death by husband of 47 years, Herman Lett: parents, Carroll and Lily Vaughn.Family members include sons: Mike (Judy) Lett, Pat (Angie) Lett, Brian (Christy) Lett, grandchildren: Michael (Lori), Eric (Ashley), Lauren, Rachel, great grandchildren: John, Ella, Emma, special friend: Ann Carey, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Longtime member of Powell United Methodist Church, member of Acacia/May #24 Order of the Eastern Star.The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Powell United Methodist Church, 323 W. Emory Rd. The service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, August 5th for a 9:00 a.m. graveside.
