Betty J. Lowe, age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. She was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors include husband, Vic Lowe; children: Ed Clarkson, Sheila Whaley, Gary Clarkson and wife, Donna; grandchildren: Eric Clarkson, Josh Clarkson, Sabrina Blair, Paul Dotson, and Frances Dotson; six great-grandchildren; very special friends, Vicki (Bobbie) and Bobby Ogle, Bobbie Brown, Beulah Sharp, Lea and Mike Stanifer, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday with the funeral service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Reverend Tony Crawford will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. for the interment at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
