Charles “David” Hill, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away March 18, 2021 at home. Member of Callahan Rd. Baptist Church and accepted Jesus at 9 years old and was always telling others. David graduated from Bearden High in 1962. Married Charlotte in 1963, had 1st child in 1964 and became a salesman with Rainbo bread, later bought by Sara Lee. He later became a sales executive. Preceded in death by parents, Nathan and Thelma Hardin; brother, Gordon Hill; sister in law, Wanda Hill. Survived by wife, Charlotte Russell Hill; children, Brian D. Hill and Tracy Hill Smith (Noah); 4 grandchildren. “Pop” to Trevor (Molly) Hill of Chattanooga, Zachary Hill of New Mexico, Jordan Smith, Jakob Smith of Knoxville; siblings, Dorothy Johnson (Charlie) of Knoxville, Robert Hardin (Linda) of Roanoke, VA; 50 year friends, Dorothy and David Keys, Ronnie and Diana Fine; 45 beloved friends in his Jubilee Class. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 – 7 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Marc Sasser officiating.
