Dear Mrs. Searcy, Chuck and Chip,

I have very fond memories of attending Church with you at CUMC many years ago. I pray the love of friends and family comforts you during this difficult time.

This is my Grandad today at the burial I laid a flower on his casket and I will love to come visit his grave some weekend when I am with my dad. R.I.P. I love you Grandad you will be missed.

I graduated with Charlie in December, 1954.  I remember him as always happy.  He was a very good man.  There were 5 of us in the class.  Jim Geiger

I remember what a fine person Charles was and always enjoyed seeing him both at Concord United Methodist Church and at work. Am sorry for your loss but nothing can take away the good memories you have of your long life together. With Love, Charlie

One of my favorite memories of Charles was when I was talking to him about his "magic carpet rides", I said "Charles instead of working, why not imagine that you are young and on a desserted island with your wife?" (Dee was sitting right next to him) With a big grin on his face he says, "Does it have to be my wife?".

Charles always had a great sense of humor... he is missed.
