Thornhill, Clarence Edward, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away, Saturday, May 21, 2016. Member of First Baptist of Fountain City. Retired from Robert Shaw Controls. He was a member of Fountain City Lodge # 757 F&AM. Preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Priscilla Thornhill; parents, Gilbert and Estella Thornhill; brothers, Glenn Thornhill, and Lester Thornhill; sisters, Hazel King, and Christine Mills. Survived by daughter, Angie Thornhill; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Darren Lee; granddaughter, Hannah Lee; sister, Mae Lowery; brother, Jimmy Thornhill; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Special thanks to his “Buddy” Lisa. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday with the funeral service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr with Rev. Doug Fielden officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 am Wednesday for the 11:30 am graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
