Hammock, Connie Lee, 90, of Knoxville, Tenn., went to be with The Lord Thursday, February 06, 2014, at her daughter and son-in-law’s residence in Fall Branch, Tenn. She was born January 12, 1924. She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church in Knoxville and an attendee of 6th Avenue Baptist Church. She was an avid ceramic artist in her free time. Connie is survived by her daughters and son in law, Linda and Gordon Covington and Patricia Hammock and son and daughter in law Michael & Indria Hammock; grandchildren Kevin Covington, Angie Covington, Darryl Patterson, Caitlin Rush, Laura Ann Heisler and several great grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J Hammock and several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst- Greenwood Chapel Knoxville, TN from 1:00-2:30 pm Sunday with the funeral service to follow with Reverend Bobby Lay of 6th Avenue Baptist Church officiating.
