Cynthia Gamble

Cynthia June Easterly Hickey Gamble, July 17, 1957 – March 29, 2016. Preceded in death by mother Carolyn Easterly. Survived by her husband of 23 years Terry Gamble; daughter Elizabeth Anne Hickey Flatford (Daniel); son Eric Gamble (Emily); granddaughter Mackenzie Grace Flatford; father David Easterly; brother Michael Easterly. Cindy was a graduate of Greenville High School and Carson-Newman University, graduating in 1978 with a B.A. in Art and with a Master’s Degree in Education. As an LMFT (Licensed Marital and Family Therapy), Cindy served as the Women’s Outpatient Program manager at Helen Rose McNabb. Later, she began Helping Heart Counseling, her private practice. Her passion was helping people find their way through life’s obstacles. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” She was a member of Corryton Church where she served on mission teams to Brazil, Thailand and Zimbabwe, and ministered to missionaries in those countries. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Service following at 7:00 pm.
