White, Darlene Ann, age 65, of Knoxville, formerly of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012. She was formerly a teacher in the Chicago School System and has pastored several churches and recently was an assistant pastor at First Church of the Nazarene. She also was a caretaker and teacher at Sertoma Center. She was a loving, selfless and serving person and lived her life for others.
Survivors include sisters, Marilyn (Jim) Hanner, Donna (Dan) Schatz, Mary (Darrell) Kirk, Pam (Manny) Liebsch; brothers, Cecil (Penny) White, Seth (Sue) White, Glen (Pauline) White and Kevin (Lori) White.
A Memorial service will be 2 pm Thursday in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Knoxville with Rev. James Coy officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery at Valparaiso, IN.
