Dennis Marcus Wallace

Dennis Marcus Wallace, born on February 20, 1934 in Maynardville, TN, and passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 91. Dennis was a long time resident of Knoxville, TN. He was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. Dennis graduated from Central High School, Class of 1952. After graduation, he worked at Keener Dental Supply and retired as a Dental Supply salesman after 50 years of dedicated service. Dennis was a proud US Army veteran serving from 1956 until 1958 and was deployed to West Germany. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and Vols fan. Dennis was a former Commissioner and coach at Fountain City Ballpark for many years.

Dennis was preceded in death by parents, Corum and Arrena Wallace; brothers, Carson, Ralph and Edwin Wallace; sisters, Bernice Wallace and Aileen Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joanne Wallace; sons, Barry Wallace (Laura) and Roger Wallace; grandchildren, Craig and Erin Wallace; sister, Joyce Wilson; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 3rd from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place Thursday, December 4th at 1pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating.
