Dolly Marie Jones

Jones, Dolly, age 79 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. Dolly was an active member of North Knoxville Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was employed as a cook at Belle Morris Elementary School where she cherished her time with the children. She is preceded in death by husband, Roy C. Jones, Sr. and parents, Enos and Thelma Mallicoat. She is survived by son, Roy C. Jones, Jr. and wife, Heather; grandson, Kevin Jones and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Alex and Lauren Jones; sisters, Shirley Mynatt and husband, Bill, and Polly Buckner; special aunt, Janette Goins; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Monday, March 2, 2015 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. A funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Charles Fritz and Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:45am Tuesday, March 3, 2015, for an 11:00am interment.
