Dolores Jean Hale, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. Dolores loved crafting, painting, reading, genealogy, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Buddy" Orville Hale and daughter, Jamie Sue Hale.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Teri (Jennifer Rose) Wolfenbarger; sons, John Hale and James Hale; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Sue) Gilbreath and Jim (Peggy Guyton) Gilbreath; and family friend, Rhonda Meeks.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville,TN 37918 from 1:00-2:45 PM, with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 PM at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
