Donald Wayne Wolfenbarger

Wolfenbarger, Donald (Wayne), age 49, went to be with the Lord, Friday , January 3, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Wayne was a loving husband, father, brother, son and brother-in-law. He was employed by Hansen Adkins Transportation. Wayne graduated from West High School in 1982 and won "Mr. Tennessee" bodybuilding title in 1989, "Mr. Knoxville" in 1989 and "Mr. Mid-South" in 1986. Preceded in death by grandparents, Estelle and Florence Wolfenbarger; parents, Don and Ilda Wolfenbarger; brother, Steven Ray Wolfenbarger and brother-in-law, Edward Paul Gilliand. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Trish Wolfenbarger; daughters, Ashley Renee and Brooke LeAnn; son, Gunnar Lee; siblings, Ronald Todd Wolfenbarger and Joella Michelle Collins; sister-in-law, Joyce and Mark Holbert; brother-in-law, Richard L. Gilliland; brother-in-law, Kenneth and Tracy Gilliand; sister-in-law, Jayme Wolfenbarger and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Wednesday,January 8, 2014 from 6-8pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, 2300 W. Adair Dr. The funeral service will begin at 8pm, Pastor Wayne Henderson officiating. Interment will be private. Special thanks to all the nursing staff at Ft. Sanders 8th Floor. He loved you all.
