Donna M. Bittle

Donna M. Bittle, 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Born July 31, 1946, Donna lived a life marked by steady devotion to the people and places she served, and she will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude by all who knew her.

A longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls, Donna’s faith and commitment to community were enduring constants throughout her life. Her working years reflected the same reliability and care: she was employed at Miller's Department Store until they closed, and she later transitioned to Berry Funeral Home, where she proudly served in various roles for over 30 years. After a remarkable tenure defined by dedication and professionalism, Donna retired in 2023.

Donna was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Arlena McKinney; brothers, Billy Joe and Dennis McKinney; sisters, Claudine and Ann McKinney. She is survived by nephew, Tim (Stephanie) Barrett; great niece-her precious angel, Skylar Pile; sister-in-law, Jaye McKinney.

Graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 am at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Rocky Glenn officiating. There will be a reception to celebrate Donna's life immediately following the graveside service at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918.
