Just wish I had one more minute to tell you I love you to kiss cheek and hold your hand. The day before you slipped away I laid by your side, you twirled my hair around your fingers for one last time. You loved doing that when I was a child even in my teen years, and when my hair was long you wrapped it around my nose. The day you went to heaven I prayed a prayer you taught me long ago. “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take”. Night night my sweet mother.

My favorite memory was when I would go over to her house and the whole family would be there and we would have a big meal and just spend time together she was always someone who could lift you up when u where feeling down but she also was a strong woman that never gave up on her family she was an amazing grandmother and I will miss her I am glad I got to love her and hold her on her last days. At least she can finally rest easy and not hurt . I bet she is smiling and will look out for us

You were the epitome of what an amazing grandmother is. Thank you for showing me how to find strength in struggles and how to handle tough obstacles with a sense of grace and dignity. I want you to know how grateful I am for all you have done and been for me in this life. You gave me some of the most incredible memories ANYONE could ever ask for. It was magical. Thank you for all the love you have given me. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for loving me when I couldn’t love myself. Thank you for giving me more than I ever could have asked for. Thank you for taking care of me and for all the memories and moments we shared. Thank you for teaching me and laughing with me. Thank you for devoting your life to all of us. I love you so much. I love you more than you ever possibly know. I will see you again and I know you will be waiting on me with open arms. Many never have a chance to meet their heroes. I was lucky to have known mine and for that I am truly grateful, I only hope to do the best I can to make you proud. Sleep in peace my hero.
