He was preceded in death by father, Edward Ray Shelby and mother, Imogene Shaver. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Noleka "Nicky" Shelby; daughter, Nicole (Cory) Yates; granddaughter, Emilia Yates; mother by love, Virginia Shelby; sister, Karen Conard and family.
Family will receive friends Saturday, December 31st from 1-3pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
