
Ailor, Drucilla Herman, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Homestead Memory Care of Olathe, Kansas. She was born September 13, 1925 in Hickory, North Carolina. She was a member of Penelope Baptist Church and later, in Knoxville, Mars Hill Baptist Church. Drucilla was preceded in death by her parents, Colon and Nannie Kanipe and her husbands, Roscoe Ailor and Darvin Herman. She leaves three daughters; Rene' Meredith (Joe), Darlene Phillips, and Tami Defenderfer (Robert); her brother, Jerry Kanipe; sister, Nancy Smithey (Cecil); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her grandson, Pastor Lance Phillips officiating.
