Earl Eugene Foster

Earl was a hardworking man who devoted his life to his family and his faith. He loved his family deeply and loved Jesus with all his heart. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone in need, never hesitating to lend a helping hand. His generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others touched the lives of many.

Earl was also very mechanically inclined and could often figure out how to fix, repair, or build just about anything. His hardworking hands and determination were a reflection of the man he was—dependable, resourceful, and always willing to get the job done.

Above all, Earl was a family man. His greatest legacy is the love he gave to his family and the memories he leaves behind. Though he is deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing that he is now at peace and with Jesus.

Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Faye; daughter, Terry; son, Danny; parents; and several brothers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Marlene Kost (Alan), Cathy Foster, Melissa Shuff (Ron); sons, Kenneth, Jackie (Sharon), and Ricky Foster; grandchildren, Alan Jr., Tony, Angela, Amanda, Kevin Jr., Justin, Amy, Ricky Jr., Wendy, Jackie Jr., Joel, Ryan, and Evan; 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Earl’s life was a testament to hard work, faith, love, and helping others. His family will carry his memory in their hearts and treasure the many years, lessons, and memories he gave them. He was loved, he was needed, and he will never be forgotten. Until we meet again.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 30th from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918.
