Eddie White

White, Eddie Dean Montgomery, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Willow Ridge Center in Maynardville, Tennessee. Eddie worked many years at different sewing factories. She retired as a CNA doing private duty in homes. Member of Glen Oak Baptist Church. She raised her three children in church and taught them about Jesus. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Gerald White; son, Richard Dean Massey. Survived by daughters, Teresa Barnes and husband Bill of Knoxville, and Ashton Gaddis of Arizona; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Willow Ridge and Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care they gave our mother the last four years of her life. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday with the funeral service to follow at 8pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. with Brother Charlie Reynolds officiating.
