Elizabeth F Curry

Curry, Elizabeth (Liz) Forward, age 87, passed away December 13, 2017. Liz was born March 10, 1930 in Jacksonville, FL. She was a 53 year resident of Knoxville, Tennessee. Liz was a wife, mother of a large family, an artist and a scholar of the French language. She was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art and The University of Tennessee. She held a master’s degree in both Art Education and French. Preceded in death by grandson, Ethan Curry and by daughter-in-law, Tara Curry. Survived by husband of 66 years, Al Curry; sons, Richard Curry, Tom and wife Patty Curry, Mike Curry; daughters, Barbara Wilkerson, Joan and husband David Wheeler, Ann Curry, Carolyn and husband Mike Bradshaw; grandchildren, Mila Curry, Israel, Leah and Sarah Wilkerson, Meghan King and Jessica Wheeler, Hannah and Allison Bradshaw, Jason Potter; granddaughter-in-law, Molly Curry; great granddaughter, Hadley Curry; dear friend Wade Howell. The family will receive friends Monday, December 18, from 5 – 7 pm with the memorial service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Interment will be private.
